Our chosen charities are Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and the Oxford Children's Hospital Campaign. We chose these as we wanted to strike a balance between relevance along the route we will be travelling and being able to make a difference in our home communities. MSF has recently been involved in aid efforts in Bosnia, Serbia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikstan and China to name but a few, whilst the Oxford Children's Hospital will, once complete, provide a superb facility both for Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. To make it easier to donate money we have set up an online site through Just Giving. You can use this to donate to MSF or the Oxford Children's Hospital campaign, or both if you prefer, by clicking on the links below. If you are a UK taxpayer you can also claim gift aid, which increases your donation by 28% at no cost to you. 100% of money donated goes direct to charity, as we are funding the trip ourselves.
